ISSA is led by the family, across three generations, with the Board and institutional leadership around them.
Michel Issa opened the first service station in Amchit in 1970 and built the business that became IPT. As Honorary Chairman, he remains the custodian of how the family works; his conviction that development begins close to home still guides the Group and the Foundation that carries his name.
Dr. Toni M. Issa is Chairman of ISSA Group, leading the Group’s long-term direction across its businesses, investments, and philanthropy. It was his vision and commitment to innovation that consolidated IPT into one of Lebanon’s leading energy companies and then carried it beyond, from a national distributor to a regional group with operations across the Gulf. He is President of IPTEC and chairs the Energy & Water Committee at the Beirut Bar Association. A lawyer by profession, he holds a Doctorate of State in Private Law and an Executive MBA in Energy from HEC Paris.
Zakhia M. Issa oversees the Group’s operations and commercial development. He led the operational expansion from a Lebanese station network to a regional platform, and has run the business through every stage of that growth.
Aya T. Issa leads the Group’s expansion across the UAE and the Gulf and is driving the consolidation of its governance and corporate structure under ISSA Global. The third generation of the family in the business, she began her career at J.P. Morgan in Singapore and holds a double degree in Finance and Politics from NYU Stern.
Albert Y. Rouhana has spent more than four decades with the business, joining young and rising through its financial operations to become Vice Chairman of IPT Group Holding. On the ISSA Group Board he contributes to governance and financial oversight, and he serves as Vice President of the Michel Issa Foundation.
