ISSA Group integrates sustainability into its business strategy and operations, with the energy transition forming a key part of this approach. Led by the Group Sustainability Department, our efforts are supported by IPTEC’s research and expertise, investments in EV charging and renewable energy infrastructure, and responsible practices across the Group.

As the landscape evolves, we are strengthening the way we operate and investing in the capabilities needed for the future — from EV charging, renewable energy and biofuels to applied research, responsible operations, our people and the communities we serve.

Climate & Energy Transition
We are advancing the transition through investments in EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy and lower-carbon solutions. Through EVzone in Lebanon, solar installations across our operations, and biodiesel distribution in the UAE, we continue to explore practical solutions that support a lower-carbon future.
Research & Innovation
Through IPTEC, our research center dedicated to energy, environment and sustainable transportation, we support applied research and knowledge that help inform the Group’s long-term sustainability direction and contribute to wider sector progress.
Responsible Operations
We work to continuously improve the environmental, quality, health and safety performance of our operations, supported by established management systems and internationally recognized standards.
People & Communities
Our sustainability approach extends beyond our environmental footprint. We invest in our people, promote safe and inclusive workplaces, engage with local communities, and develop initiatives that create meaningful social impact.
Accountability, Reporting & Standards
We strengthen accountability through transparent sustainability reporting, active participation in the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO-certified management systems for quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
