Governance shaped by stewardship

For ISSA, governance is part of how the family has built, protected, and carried its businesses forward across generations. As the Group evolved, that stewardship was formalized through structures designed to support continuity, accountability, and long-term growth.

Three pillars, three structures

One family. Distinct governance structures.

ISSA Global brings together three distinct pillars, each with its own governance model, leadership structure, and institutional role.

01

ISSA Group

ISSA Group operates through a formal Board of Directors responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and long-term stewardship of the family's operating businesses.

02

ISSA Ventures

ISSA Ventures follows its own governance approach, aligned with the discretion and discipline expected of a private family investment arm.

03

Michel Issa Foundation

The Michel Issa Foundation operates independently through its own governance framework, reflecting its distinct mission and public-impact role.

IGSO

Strategic coordination across the ISSA identity

At the broader ISSA level, strategic alignment is supported through the ISSA Group Strategy Office, IGSO, which helps coordinate governance frameworks, strategic priorities, and long-term consistency across the ISSA identity.

Its role is to preserve alignment, discipline, and coherence across the ISSA identity while allowing each pillar to operate through its own structure.

Family stewardship

ISSA's governance reflects a generational commitment to family stewardship, supported by formal structures and independent oversight. Family representation remains central to the Group's governance model, ensuring continuity of ownership, values, and long-term direction while allowing the institution to evolve with discipline and accountability.

How decisions are guided

At the ISSA Global level, strategic direction is shaped through coordination between the Group's Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Executive Director, in consultation with the Honorary Chairman and the President of the Michel Issa Foundation. Operational decisions remain within each entity, according to its own Board, governance model, and executive structure.
