In a solemn ceremony at the Vatican, His Holiness Pope Francis has awarded Mr. Michel Issa, founder and chairman of IPT Group , the esteemed “Grand Order of St. Gregory the Great” in recognition of his significant humanitarian and ecclesiastical contributions.

Mr. Issa graciously accepted the medal from Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, surrounded by his family and distinguished religious figures including Bishop Youhanna Warcha, representing His Beatitude Mar Bechara Boutros El Rai, Bishop Michel Aoun, Bishop of Byblos, Bishop Boulos Rouhana, Bishop of Sarba, Monsignor Charbel Anton and Father Charbel Abou El Ezz, parish priest of Mar Zakhia in Amchit.

Established by Pope Gregory XVI in 1831, this honor underscores Mr. Michel Issa's unwavering commitment to philanthropy and his dedication to uplifting communities globally through the Michel Issa Foundation (MIF).
