Michel Issa Foundation supports Lebanon beyond borders

“Beyond local support, our objective is also to mobilize the Lebanese diaspora,” affirms Dr. Toni M. Issa, President of the Michel Issa Foundation for Local Development. This commitment was powerfully illustrated on 20 May 2026 at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, where an exceptional solidarity concert in support of the Lebanese people brought together renowned artists under the artistic direction of Ibrahim Maalouf and Hiba Tawaji, and under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron. The event transcended the realm of music, serving as a celebration of Lebanon’s resilience, creativity, and enduring cultural influence, while reaffirming the importance of international solidarity during challenging times.

The Michel Issa Foundation was proud to support this initiative, recognizing that supporting Lebanon extends far beyond geographical boundaries. For MIF, development is not limited to implementing projects on the ground; it also involves strengthening Lebanon’s presence on the international stage, preserving its cultural identity, and fostering connections between the country and its global diaspora.
