IPT Energy took part in the UAE - Lebanon Business Forum as part of the official UAE economic delegation, bringing the Issa Group’s Lebanese roots and growing regional presence into a high-level dialogue on trade, investment and private-sector cooperation. Represented by Aya Issa, Managing Shareholder and Regional Director of IPT Energy, the Group joined around 80 UAE business leaders and senior Lebanese decision-makers across priority areas including energy, logistics, infrastructure and technology.

The forum came as UAE - Lebanon non-oil trade reached US$4.2 billion in 2025, a 35.6% increase from the previous year. It also featured the signing of the foundational memorandum of understanding establishing the Joint UAE - Lebanon Business Council, followed by its inaugural meeting.

For IPT Energy, the participation reflects a distinct regional journey. Founded in Lebanon more than 50 years ago, the Group established operations in the UAE in 2020 and continues to expand its footprint across the region. This dual-market experience positions IPT Energy to connect local insight, business relationships and energy-sector opportunities across borders. “Being included in this delegation reflects the relationships IPT Energy has built across Lebanon and the UAE,” said Aya Issa. “It gives us the opportunity to build on this momentum and develop partnerships that support long-term growth for our business and the markets we serve.”

Held at Seaside Arena in Beirut, the forum was led from the UAE side by H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade. Dr. Tarek Mitri, Deputy Prime Minister, attended on behalf of Lebanese Prime Minister H.E. Nawaf Salam.
